Principal’s News

This week got off to a great start with our drumming workshops.  The children had a blast making music together with their drumming teacher!

As always there’s been great learning going on in every class.

  • Junior Infants have been learning about the life cycle of the butterfly,
  • Senior Infants have been learning about transport in the past,
  • 1st were learning about rust in Science this week,
  • 2nd were learning about the desert and did beautiful desert paintings,
  • 3rd class have been learning about the water cycle,
  • 4th class have been learning about Amelia Earhart and the history of flight,
  • 5th class were learning about the 1916 Easter Rising, and
  • 6th class were learning about Ancient Greece and made catapults for STEM.

We hope everyone has a lovely, safe and relaxing May Mid-term break and we look forward to seeing everyone again when the school re-opens on 14th May.

Go n-éirí libh,
